Description

The flashcards used when teaching your child letter sounds is extremely important and will make or break their experience. Our flashcards check all of the boxes, including:

• Picture on opposite side of letter
  • When the picture and letter are together, your child will memorize the letter by associating it with the picture, but will not actually be able to recognize the letter when they see it alone.
• Simple, calm, and fun pictures
  • Many flashcards contain overstimulating pictures with lots of extra noise, which is not only unnecessary but will distract and hinder your child’s learning of the letter.
• Animals that begin with the default sound of the letter (the first sound your child should learn)
  • For example: Gg as in ‘goat’ and not Gg as in ‘giraffe’
• Line above uppercase Jj and lines above and below uppercase Ii for easy recognition and to avoid confusion with other (similar) letters
  • For example: Uppercase Ii and lowercase Ll look the same when Ii does not have lines above and below. This is extremely confusing for children learning to recognize letters.
• Large in size so they can keep your child’s interest and be used in games when learning

DIRECTIONS:

1. Download the file that you receive via email after purchasing.
2. Print at home or at a store. If printing at home, make sure your printer is on the highest quality setting so the pictures are clear.
3. Fold along the dotted line and start using right away OR cut along the dotted line, put the two pages together, and laminate to make a ‘card.’ This way is best as it will make the cards durable for long-term use.

*The paper size for this file is A4 (21cm x 29.7cm). This size is very similar to A3 and US letter size. Extra white space was purposely left around the edges to ensure it can be printed on various sizes without issue. If you do run into any issues and need a different size, feel free to contact us and request it.*
